With dimensions of 5.5 x 6.7 x 2.2 inches, the PSP Go is a handy device that can store and do almost anything that you can ask for. Weighing about 1.3 pounds, this won’t be any form of a hassle to anyone. The slim dimensions and the light weight will give justice to its name, being a portable device.
PSP Go Functions:
If you are a fan of the previous PSPs, you will surely find the PSP Go more exciting with stuff that has been modified and added to it. These newer operations gave way to a more functional, more energy saving and more silent device as it has done away with the former Universal Media Disc drive which can be a little annoying for the little sound it makes.
PSP Go Connection And Networking:
Now, it has a Bluetooth capability to make it easier to transfer and receive files. If you are connected to the internet via the WiFi connection it has, you will be able to access Skype calls. This is possible with a compatible handset only. The internet access will also allow you to do online games and internet browsing.
The design itself has changed. Now, the PSP Go will have a sliding layout rather than the old one with the controls at both sides of the device. When you are not using the controls, you can simple slide them out of sight and enjoy a purely screen view when you are watching movies or videos on your device. Enjoy a lot of different video files as they can be played on your device.
Pros:
• The ability to download games, movies, and other media directly from the PlayStation Network.
• 16GB of built-in flash memory.
• Bluetooth support for skype headsets and other devices.
• Ability to play MP3, WAV, WMA, ATRAC3+, and MP4 files.
• Speakers noticeably better, but still mediocre.
• You can pause a game and go back to the XMB to do some other things.
• You can connect to a TV.
Cons:
• No UMD exclusives (Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Crisis Core, etc).
• No touchscreen.
• No dual analog sticks.
• Buttons feel cheap.
• It is not a new version of the standard PSP.
• Screens way too small.
